This exquisite little silver bird brooch has flown over two centuries to find us here today. Crafted in delicate silver filigree, the three-dimensional bird is remarkably naturalistic. She is a true treasure; each feather is wrought in lacy silver wire. The piece fastens with the c-clasp common to the 19th Century. This brooch is small and lightweight, perfect for a blouse or sweater. Circa 1820.
